The Garden Party
Oakland Community college
North central michigan college
In its 11th year, The Garden Party attracted nearly 700 guests, 30 of Detroit’s premier restaurants and it’s largest classic car display to date. Guests were able to enjoy over 100 different types of wine and live entertainment by Detroit’s very own, Tosha Owens on the pleasant Sunday afternoon in June.
The best component of The Garden Party is it’s charitable aspect. The Garden Party Foundation provides professional trade scholarships to underprivileged young adults. TGPF believes that the purpose of education is to teach students skills allowing them the opportunity to create their own self-sustainable life, which goes hand in hand with TGPF’s intention…to help one student at a time reach their dreams. The 2019 beneficiary was Oakland Community College.
Such an extraordinary event.
Congratulations on a most successful Garden Party! The wine was extraordinary, the food was superb, the setting incredible and the car display impressive!
The feedback that Childrens Leukemia Foundation of Michigan received both at the event and this morning has been over the top. From our guests advantage point the event was well executed and well oiled. Countless numbers of guests expressed congratulations to The Garden Party organizers and promised to return and bring friends next year!
We are humbled to be a beneficiary of such an extraordinary event, and even more humbled to be a part of such a winning team.

What a turnout!
In the afterglow of this year's event, we would simply like to say thank you. What an event! The venue was spectacular! Wow, to the cars! The food was great! What a turn out! Everything worked perfect! None of this could have happened without your great work. Elizabeth and I truly are thankful for our relationship
